Holy Trinity Church, situated at 20 Church Street,
just an easy 10 minute stroll from the Devonport Ferry Building, is
open 7 days a week, daylight hours.
Come in to enjoy the warm beauty of this historic,
native kauri timber, Gothic building, intricate carving and
magnificent
stained glass windows.
We have a
Mission Statement and a vision
statement which reflects our priorities of love for God and Service
to others.

strive to be “a family in Christ, to celebrate diversity in Christ
and to nurture spiritual growth in Christ”.
Call in for a visit, or to rest or pray - or come to

Service on a Sunday or Wednesday
and receive a warm and caring welcome.
Our different Services of Worship cater for all ages
and preferences and include informal Family Worship with
contemporary songs led by a highly skilled music group and singers,
very formal and traditional Sung Eucharist and Evensong with
traditional hymns and robed Choir accompanied on the recently
restored late 19th century Pipe Organ; quiet reflective Taize style
worship; Youth services and Café style services.
Prayer
is very important in the life of our faith community and Prayer
Groups meet both in homes and on the church premises during the
week. There is also an after-Church Prayer Ministry which is
available following the 9:30am Sunday services providing an
opportunity for quiet and confidential ministry whether for healing
or for help.
We believe that Christian
Education is important for all
thinking people who are seeking to deepen their relationships with
God, and whether it be from our book or tape Library, personal Bible
Study, Home Fellowship, Discussion Groups, Women’s Groups, Men’s
Breakfasts, the Alpha Programme or other educational opportunities,
you will find something on offer here to help you relate the
Christian Faith to your daily life.
Children and Young People are important members of
our Church Family and we have a large and lively Sunday programme
for the children called Super Sunday Club and a very active Friday
night youth ministry for teenagers.
