If you would like to know more of what’s happening in our Parish life, refer to our Quarterly Parish Magazine.

Or if you are in need of some Inspiration feel free to dip into the inspirational prayers, quotations and  readings.

Holy Trinity Church, situated at 20 Church Street, just an easy 10 minute stroll from the Devonport Ferry Building, is open 7 days a week, daylight hours.

Come in to enjoy the warm beauty of this historic, native kauri timber, Gothic building, intricate carving and magnificent stained glass windows.

We have a Mission Statement and a vision statement which reflects our priorities of love for God and Service to others.

“To Know Christ and to make Christ known” and we strive to be “a family in Christ, to celebrate diversity in Christ and to nurture spiritual growth in Christ”.

Call in for a visit, or to rest or pray - or come to a Service on a Sunday or Wednesday and  receive a warm and caring welcome.

Our different Services of Worship cater for all ages and preferences and include informal Family Worship with contemporary songs led by a highly skilled music group and singers, very formal and traditional Sung Eucharist and Evensong with traditional hymns and robed Choir accompanied on the recently restored late 19th century Pipe Organ; quiet reflective Taize style worship; Youth services and Café style services.

Prayer is very important in the life of our faith community and  Prayer Groups meet both in homes and on the church premises during the week. There is also an after-Church Prayer Ministry which is available following the 9:30am Sunday services providing an opportunity for quiet and confidential ministry whether for healing or for help.

We believe that Christian Education is important for all thinking people who are seeking to deepen their relationships with God, and whether it be from our book or tape Library, personal Bible Study, Home Fellowship, Discussion Groups, Women’s Groups, Men’s Breakfasts, the Alpha Programme or other educational opportunities, you will find something on offer here to help you relate the Christian Faith to your daily life.

Children and Young People are important members of our Church Family and we have a large and lively Sunday programme for the children called Super  Sunday Club and a very active Friday night youth ministry for teenagers.
