The Parish of Devonport offers a wide range of styles of worship from traditional Anglican services to  more informal styles of worship.

SUNDAY WORSHIP at HOLY TRINITY

8am Holy Communion
1st  and 5th Sundays of the Month -
Book of Common Prayer No Music
2nd Sunday New Zealand Prayer Book Choral Eucharist
3rd  and 4th Sundays of the Month Book of Common Prayer
: Choir, pipe organ and  hymns

9.30am 1st Sunday of Month – All Age Worship
This a special time for ALL ages to worship together informally! NO Super Sunday Club (Sunday School) on this day!
This service includes puppets or dramas and a couple of children’s action songs. There is no communion at these services.

9.30am 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Sunday of Month - Contemporary Communion Service
This Service loosely  follows the order of our New Zealand Prayer Book, but is a more flexible and informal. The worship includes modern songs of praise and is led by our Music Groups.
Children from "Super Sunday Club"  join the adults in church for Holy Communion.

The 9.30am Services are followed by tea/coffee and a time to socialise.

EVENING SERVICES: These include healing services, café services and other occasional services.
Please note : The times for evening services are variable.
These may be verified by ringing the Vicar on 4450378 or the Parish Administrator on 4450328.

1st Sunday of the Month:
Choral Evensong :  5pm during Winter, 7pm during Summer
Book of Common Prayer "Choral Evensong" featuring the Holy Trinity Choir .

3rd Sunday of the Month:

Taize Service 6pm.
The Taize Service is a quiet , reflective, meditative Service which includes times for silence and reflection, simple repetitive chants, some visual focal point. Service length is usually about 30-40mins. 

Midweek Communion at 10am every Wednesday.

Morning Prayer daily Tuesday – Friday 8.45 – 9.15.

 The church is open every day during daylight hours for prayer and reflection.


ST. AUGUSTINE’S CHURCH:
95 Calliope Road, (next door to the Naval Hospital).

Sunday services.
January : No services.
February to December :
11.00 am - Communion Service ( New Zealand Liturgy; Children's activities in the hall)
On the first Sunday of the month the service has a family focus.

After the 11.00 am service on the 1st Sundays of the month the St Augustine's monthly study group meets in the church.

Weekdays.
Prayer meeting - Mondays 11.00 am
Open for silent prayer - Tuesdays 7.30-8.30 pm
Friday Night International Gospel Service - Fridays 8.00 pm


The church is usually open 10.30am to 12 noon, Monday to Friday, except public holidays.
