Holy Trinity Choir

Holy Trinity Church has one of the most active Anglican parish choirs in Auckland. The full choir sings two full choral services each month, with other special services at Christmas and Easter and at other times.

The choir is currently recruiting new members to replace some who are moving overseas.

The basic commitment for members is a rehearsal every Wednesday from 7.30 to 9.00 p.m., Choral Evensong on the first Sunday of the month at 5 p.m. (or 7 p.m. in summer), and Choral Eucharist on the third Sunday at 8 a.m. Most choir members also sing on the second and fourth Sunday at 8 a.m., where there is slightly less music, but this can be optional.

Potential members, of course, need to have a voice capable of blending with others, the ability to sing in tune, and preferably some sight reading ability, though this can be developed.

Interested people are invited to come along to any choir practice, meet our friendly group, and sing along with us to see how they fit in.
